MODIFICATION COMMITTEE The governing documents of Edgewater require homeowners to obtain prior written approval from the Association before making any alterations to the exterior of your home or lot. When and if you wish to make alterations, please complete an Exterior Modification Application and submit with required plans and site map showing location of the modification. Submit applications to the Community Administrator. Applications will be reviewed by the Committee and a decision communicated within 30 days. GROUNDS/ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITTEE Ensures common areas are appropriately and adequately maintained.
SAILBOAT/SECTION 4 COMMITTEE Lots in Sailboat pay an additional monthly assessment for weekly curbside trash pickup and lawn maintenance.
Trash Service is provided by Choice Waste. Pickup occurs on Fridays. Observed holidays include: Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and January 1.
Lawn Service is provided by Nature's Way Landscaping. The following services are provided by the Association: mowing of turf (April-Oct), weed control, fertilization, annual aeration and seeding, leaf removal, tree/shrub pruning (front yards only), and annual mulching of beds (front yards only). It is the Association’s policy that any damages you believe were caused by the Association’s landscaping contractor must be reported to Community Partners of Virginia immediately. The landscaping contractor will then review the damage, and if caused by the contractor, will coordinate the repair with the owner. The contractor will not pay third party invoices after repairs have been made if not reported at the time of the damage.
